I’m currently an eleventh grade honors student and, in addition to my studies, I love performing at venues around the state of South Carolina. My favorite roles include Sharpay in High School Musical, Amber in Hairspray, Polynesia in Doctor Doolittle, Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Sally in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and Young Emily in Our Town. I appeared as Lily Reece in Robert Richmond’s independent film Dreadful Sorry producued by the South Carolina Film Commission and the University of South Carolina. In my free time I enjoy playing with my dog, singing, and playing the cello in in my high school Chamber Orchestra. My activities include my high school Honors Forum, Beta Club, Leo Club, Duke Tip Junior Scholar, Talented and Gifted Drama, the International Thespian Society, National Honor Society, and I’m an award winning French student. I’ve been a prosecutor in Mock Trial twice and was a student ambassador for TED X Youth Columbia two years in a row.
In college I plan on majoring in International Relations focusing on Human Rights with a minor in French.
My win as “Miss Freshman” at my high school led me to participate in the Miss America Outstanding Teen Blythewood competition along side a group of exceptional girls. Being crowned Miss Blythewood Teen 2017 is one my proudest moments and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of the girls at the state competition this summer.
